American School, circa 19th century. Oil on canvas portrait of a young girl leaning against a table with marbles.
Dimensions: Unframed; height: 27 in x width: 22 1/4 in. Framed; height: 34 in x width: 28 1/2 in.
Condition: Fair condition; there is an L-shaped tear measuring 2 1/4 inches in width and 2 inches in height along the upper right quadrant, to the right of the figure’s head; additionally, there are two punctures along the right. The varnish layered has darkened and there is craquelure.
