Group of three late 18th century Japanese woodblock prints by Kitagawa Utamaro. This includes “Fancy-free Type (浮気之相),” from “Ten Physiognomies of Women (婦人相学十躰)” series, published by Tsutaya Juzaburo c. 1792-1793. The lot also includes “Lovers Parting in the Morning,” from “Elegant Five-Needled Pine (Fûryû goyô no matsu)” series, c. 1797-1798. The final print is “Act V (Godanme)” from “Storehouse of Loyal Retainers (Chūshingura)” series, published by Nishimuraya Yohachi c. 1798-1799.
