19th century Italian polychrome-decorated wax relief portrait of a man in armor, surrounded by a decorative neoclassical border. Signed “Gio B. Brancano[?]” along the lower edge of the figure. Labels from the W. Button Gallery, Chicago, and the David Ice Galleries are adhered to the verso, along with an additional label indicating the provenance of the piece.
