Six Pre-Columbian ceramic figurines, including: Huastic female figure (200 B.C.E.-100 C.E.); Bahia female figure (c. 500 C.E.); Jalisco Mother Goddess 200 B.C.E.-350 C.E.); Human figure from La Selva Costa Rica (before 1000 C.E.); Quimbaya whistle (600-1100 C.E.); and Teotihuacan female bust (300-600 C.E.).
Provenance: Bahia figure previously held in Bastion Collection, South America; purchased by current owner from Howard Nowes Ancient Art, NYC, in 2003. Jalisco Mother Goddess purchased by current owner from Ron Herman of Rarities and Relix in Hudsonville, MI, in 2002. Quimbaya whistle purchased by current owner from Alex Traugott of Sagamore Beach, MA. Teotihuacan bust purchased by current owner from Trent Buckman, Carlsbad, CA.
Dimensions: Heights range from 1 1/2 in to 5 3/4 in. Widths range from 1 1/4 in to 3 1/4 in. Depths range from 1 in to 1 1/2 in.
Condition: Wear consistent with age.
