A stunning example of the very fine family of Chinese famille noire enamels, this Kangxi period porcelain vase is decorated with elegant green tendrils on a black background. This is a very well marked and decorated example of Qing ceramics.
From a private Philadelphia collection, acquired prior to 1980.
