Includes seven maps of the city of London, including one small map inset into a page of Alphonse Lasor a Varea’s “Universus Terrarum Orbis Scriptorum Calamo Delineatus,” and one highly decorated pictorial birds-eye plan of London depicting the city at the turn of the 20th century. Additionally includes one map of Dublin, one map of the London suburbs, one map of Liverpool, one profile illustration of Westminster Abbey and St. James’s Palace, and a hand colored copy of Gerardus Mercator’s (1512ñ1594) map of England, “Anglia Regnum.”
