Clara Hill (1870-1935). White marble bowl with two figures and grape vine reliefs. Carved while in Florence, Italy, dated 1914. Studied under Augustus Saint Gaudens. Exhibited in the Paris Salon in 1899, at the Art Institute of Chicago, at the Seattle Exposition in 1909 and ran her own school in Washington D.C.Height: 5 1/2 in x diameter: 6 7/8 in.
