Karl Kaufmann “Leo Perla” (Austrian, 1843-1902). Oil on canvas painting depicting boats in a harbor lit by the evening sun. Signed Leo Perla along the lower right. Kaufmann was a student of the Vienna Academy and studied throughout Europe, travelling to Norway, Holland, Germany, and often Italy.
