Etching and aquatint on paper titled “Revolt (Aufruhr)” depicting a mob of peasants taking up arms with the spirit of revolution watching over and guiding their procession. An additional print produced in parallel to “The Peasant’s Revolt” series which tells the story of the German revolution of 1525. Marked with Alexander von der Becke’s three-line blindstamp which reads “Becke/Kunstverlag/Berlin-Halensee” along the lower right. Height: 14 1/4 in x width: 16 in.
