Pair of 19th c. Minton English majolica oval jardinieres, shape 1400. Molded with putti form side handles, each side festooned with foliate swags centered by satyr masks. Glazed in bright shades of blue, green, pink, and yellow, with a vibrant teal interior. Impressed mark “Minton” and 1400 along the undersides, along with the date ciphers for 1871 and 1876, respectively. Larger; Height: 7 1/2 in x width: 17 1/2 in x depth: 8 1/2 in.
