Russian silver tea caddy. Modeled after an onion dome with scrolling foliage on a stippled ground. The interior silver gilt and cork cap with a ring-pull handle and an exterior lift-off conforming cover. Impressed along the underside with the following marks: maker’s mark of Ivan Khlebnikov (Moscow, 1867-1871); Imperial Warrant stamp; 84 silver standard zolotnik. The cap and lid marked with an 84 zolotnik and Ivan Khlebnikov’s maker mark.
