Stephane Ruais (American, b. 1945). Oil on canvas painting depicting a bridge, 1997. Signed along the lower right; dated along the verso. He discovered his joy of painting at a young age and studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts from 1964-1974. In 1991 he was appointed the official painter of the French Navy and in 2000 he was appointed the official painter of the French Air Force.
