Theo Faberge Rose Garden Glass Egg

Theo Faberge (British, 1922-2007). Iconic “Rose Garden” Faberge egg. The glass egg with a beveled side featuring a bouquet of multi-hued roses surrounded by a garland of gilt leaves. With a gilt trellis surrounding flowering branches. Mounted to a gilt metal base with a gilt metal crown adorning the top of the egg. Marked and numbered 156 along the underside. Housed in a custom carrying case. There is a certificate of authenticity included with the egg. Theo Faberge was the son of Nicholas Faberge and the grandson of Russian Imperial jeweler Carl Faberge.
