SMS Text Messaging Consent — Employee Inventory Lookup Tool

This page documents the consent process for Revere Auctions’ internal inventory-lookup text messaging tool. It applies only to Revere Auctions employees. This is an internal operational tool — it is not a marketing, promotional, or consumer program, and it is not available to the public.

What the tool does

Authorized Revere Auctions staff may text our company number to look up the physical location and status of auction inventory. The employee sends an item number or description; our system replies with a single informational message containing that item’s location, sale, lot, category, and current status. Every conversation is initiated by the employee. Revere Auctions does not send outbound, marketing, or promotional messages through this tool.

Employee consent acknowledgment

During onboarding, each employee reviews and acknowledges the following statement before being authorized to use the tool:

“I authorize Revere Auctions to send me recurring informational SMS text messages in response to inventory-lookup requests that I initiate by texting the company number. I understand that message frequency varies based on my own usage, that message and data rates may apply, that I can reply HELP for help, and that I can reply STOP at any time to opt out and stop receiving messages. I am providing my mobile number voluntarily; providing it is not a condition of my employment.”

Employees provide this acknowledgment in writing (signed acknowledgment or onboarding form) and supply the mobile number at which they wish to receive messages.

Message frequency, rates, and opt-out

  • Message frequency varies and depends on how often the employee sends lookup requests.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP or INFO for help.

Privacy
